I found this site by accident. But, it's been wonderful!
After trying Phonics Pathways, Reading Reflex, Teach Your Child in 100 Easy lessons, etc., DD 5 just could not learn how to blend her sounds together. After just 4 weeks, she is on book #6 in set 1 and doing great!
We used ETC Primers to learn all the consonant sounds, then just started with book 1. To my surprise she read it the first time!! There are flash cards to print from the site iseesam.com to practice the words for each book before being read. It's great!
I've already went ahead and ordered set #2, and we still have 19 more books from the first set to read, but know we will continue on. It's great!!

The books were simple and low-cost, but my kids still loved to read them. They would ask me to read to them and they didn't get bored. I would recommend them to anyone.
