"Death of democracy" in Europe, "multiculturalism," Islam

"Death of democracy" in Europe, "multiculturalism," Islam

https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/11807/democracy-death

Quote from one paragraph:

Commenting on a major 2016 ICM poll of Muslim opinion, Trevor Phillips, who had been Britain's foremost advocate of multiculturalism, said that, with respect to the Muslim community, he had made a 180° turn:

"for a long time, I too thought that Europe's Muslims would become like previous waves of migrants, gradually abandoning their ancestral ways, wearing their religious and cultural baggage lightly, and gradually blending into Britain's diverse identity landscape. I should have known better."

Yes, he (and lots of other leaders) should have known better. Lesson learned, but it may be too late now to do much good. Did you know that London's mayor is M?

Eta: Socialists welcome M's for various reasons, some through misguided tolerance and many because they think they have common (anti-) goals, but then they realize too late they cannot control them and their ideology. What a terrible thing to learn, too late.

Dems here haven't learned this yet. :O

Yes, I was so disappointed that they would freely elect him. An unwise choice, since he will seek to change policies that will prohibit free speech, so as to prevent anything from being said against Is...m.

There's another really pitiful and factual reason that the European nations are welcoming the M's, and that is their low birth rate. Their populations (without M immigrants) are unsustainably low. :( Humanism and forgetting God has done that.

There are so many strange things going on in the world these days.

Yes, 'free' abortions have carried a huge price tag, in more ways than one. :'(

A Brit speaking on FN recently said the health care system in the UK is becoming unsustainable. He said that it is going downhill fast. The booming immigrant population is surely straining their health care system, already weakened by issues mentioned above.

Swedes are saying the same thing about their often-vaunted "Shangri-La" socialist society.

I recently read a very interesting book by Peter Hitchens (brother of Christopher, the famous atheist/author). The interesting title says that atheism led him (PH) to God. One thing he emphasizes in his book is the title of this thread, that democracy is dead in Europe. He saw this coming several years ago.

P.S. The article details serious issues which are destroying that society, gives serious warnings which Americans need to hear. I hope everyone will read it.

The comments (all but one, about Israelites) express some very important truths. This closing comment is outstanding; it gets to the heart of the matter:

"Secularists want to have the fruits of Christianity without Christ, it cannot be."

MORE should be unbelievable things happening, these in Sweden:

Wretched place it's becoming! Wretched legal system it has developed! Sad, sad. :(

Did you know that an amer feminist was on FN tonight, touting (get ready for more should-be-unbelievable) MAY CEE's new line of hah jeebs? I am not kidding, wish I were. :( Someone is very willing to make money (ill-gotten gain) while allowing a dangerous precedent to be set, as that would effectively bring izzy into the mainstream.

TCarlson asked the woman, Do you know what this represents -- the sub joo gate ion of women? She was like, oh this is America (as though that only happens in izzy countries overseas). A complete airhead.

Eta: The only thing that makes any sense at all is that they believe they can use the M's as they want to use the ill eagle dreams, to get their votes. If this is the case, they have no idea what they're dealing with. To say that would come back to bite them is to say the sun is a little bit warm.

This is not only ignorant, it is also dangerous to America. It is dangerous to Sweden, it is dangerous in every.single.place where it is allowed to take root.

LSarsour was mentioned in that FN segment tonight. I did not know who/what she was until I read the article you linked. Apparently she was a key figure in that shameful, disgraceful women's march at DC where they ridiculed and outright called for keeling DT, who they say represents the oppressive opposite of their goals as feminists. BUT LS is all about promoting izzy and wearing the hah jeeb.

DT is not perfect by a long shot, BUT izzys demean women far, far, farrrrrr worse -- there is no comparison whatsoever. Yet they have somehow become the idols of these feminists, who desperately need for their brains to be re-washed with true wisdom and common sense.

How stupid it is to refer to the Bible when people object to shur yee ah law. There will not find there a basis for excusing such degradation of women and girls. Instead of making misleading references to the Bible, they need to put all those izzy beliefs front and center in huge block capital letters and let people see for themselves what they're letting themselves in for.

Children of God need to be praying and interceding like never before.

I always think I've heard too much to be shocked or surprised or dismayed....and then I hear another thing, and find I am still able to be shocked, surprised, and dismayed.

:(

I'm DEEPLY concerned for the little M girls that will grow up in what should be the freest country on earth, yet perhaps will not be in much better of a situation than were they in the Mideast.

:(

(That's already happening to little girls in Britain and elsewhere in Europe. SHAME, shame, shame on those lands and their leaders.)

And, yes, re: the Bible, and the false claims of equivalency between its Old Test writings and the writings of the qu........ran, firstly, the OLD Test is not the standard under which we operate; secondly, even during that time, women were accorded more privileges and treated better and had more freedoms, as can be seen even IN the writings themselves!

And thirdly, 99% of the time that vie oh lence is occurring, no one thinks to wonder, Uh-oh, is that a Sikh/Buddhist/Hindu/Christian/Wiccan/etc. committing tair er izm? We KNOW who does that; no need to wonder.

So, really, whose holy writings are the cause for concern.

Lots of red herrings and straw men and nonsense.
