Twin size vs twin Xl size comforter sets

Twin size vs twin Xl size comforter sets

Dd has a twin size bed and has picked out a twin xl comforter for her twin size day bed. The set does not come with sheets so that is not an issue. Do you have a twin xl comforter on your twin bed or is it too much? I was thinking 5-6 extra inches may be perfect so that it can be pulled back when made. Just wondering what you all like!!

For a regular bed, I would say most definitely go w/ the XL. (I like having a bit more over the edges.) But, I'm not sure with a daybed.

Can you tuck it around without issue? Or, would you end up with bunching when it's made? Because of the 3 sides to a daybed, it adds that consideration but varies by bed.

This daybed you can tuck the sides in. From what I gather, the difference in xl and regular size is the length so I am thinking it will work.

Yes, XL is just longer.

If you can tuck on the sides, then give it a try.
