Hand made gifts?

re: Hand made gifts?

Dh processed the honey comb from his beehives into melted beeswax. So we poured candles into little jars and tied with ribbon.

This was the first year making candles, and we were planning on giving them out. But, after reading up on better recipes, we think we have room for improvement to help with the "tunneling" aspect.
So, we may just keep them, and do it again next year as gifts.

Usually, I make cookies and/or little food baskets.

There are lots of great idea here.

My inbox is filled with cookie ideas from Taste of Home, Pillsbury, Betty Crocker and Kellogg's.

I am thinking of making Christmas wreath cookies made with corn flakes. That was from Kellogg's. Cute, but maybe not too delicious. Not sure.

Taste of Home provided the inspiration for peppermint candy cookies and little gingerbread men.

For the fourth one, I will probably do a bar cookie that is fairly easy. Buckeye Bars or Easy salted caramelitas both looked tempting. I am not sure which one yet.

My heart is in it, but unfortunately I don't have as much energy as I have had some years so I need to keep it simple.
