I'd like DS to do TT over the summer.
He's placed into the pre-algebra. I'm hoping
this won't be a repeat of stuff in Saxon 8/7.
Have you had him take the placement test for TT Algebra 1? Passing the test means they should be successful with that level. If you stop before they 'fail', you only know they would be successful with that level. They 'could' be successful in the next level too, swim?
I'm going to guess that if they did well in 8/7--- they should go right into Alg 1 in TT.
That's what we did-- or there is alot of repeat.
Saxon 8/7 is considered pre-alg. So you should do ok going right into Alg 1.
And TT is pretty easy and fun for the child.
This is what we have found anyway.
