Is there are place to have a child take a test (like an achievement test) online for free that would indicate at which grade level a child is performing ?

If you are trying to find out just for your own needs, have you thought of trying the ACE/school of Tomorrow placement test online for free?They gave me an accurate idea of where my child belongs.

I also googled "free online achievement testing" and some inexpensive tests came up.

Old NY state regents exams are available online for free.
