Of those who've BTDT.
I like the diversity and am thrilled by how helpful veteran moms are. I visit the FIAR and SL forums, but hands down, this board is more supportive when it comes to curriculum.
I'm not at all bashing the other boards, I just haven't experienced (via reading and asking) hsing moms with graduates so eagerly helping those of us treading the new waters. I get lost and overwhelmed over at TWTM, but the pace of this forum is really good!
Thanks, Christy

Just want to ditto those sentiments. Those of us who are new to hsing greatly appreciate the patience and advice given here. I know you may see the same basic questions posted over and over but are still so gracious as to answer. Thanks for that. Also thanks for the encouragement as we start out on our hsing journey.

I think so, too! I love this board!

Hands down this place is the most addictive. ;-)

So glad to know I'm not alone! :)
I'm not new to hsing, and as much as I curriculum hop, I also message board hop. Lol.
Anyway, I can't remember the names, but it seems this forum has more ladies who have graduated dc, been at hsing much longer than myself, and yet they still dole out advice and suggestions. I love that! I know people are busy, I just appreciate the sage wisdom that is so freely shared.
That's all!

I've been on this board since my teens were toddlers - they'll turn 16 and 18 this fall!
The diversity of opinion and variety of homeschoolers here has always kept me coming back. I love that the reviews and discussions are so specific, it actually helps with decision making about materials. Nothing vague here at HSR!

Definitely the best board out there and I've tried a lot of them in the 14 yrs we've had internet.
And like a pp said, the most addictive one too. :-)
